Did you know the colors of the stained glass windows in the sanctuary and Ner Tamid over the ark (Eternal Light) have meaning? Blue is the color for water and life giving air. Purple, from the grape is for celebration. They are set on the color of parchment, which carries the words of the Torah text from ancient times to all generations.
